How to control electronic shelf labels with your own software?
Electronic shelf labels have become increasingly popular in the market. After constantly screening different suppliers in the market, users finally chose us, which proves that we have been recognized by customers and the market in terms of product quality, product compatibility, various after-sales and services.
And we will continue to summarize some questions that most users often ask when purchasing Electronic price tag and want to integrate with Electronic price tag, so as to better help the majority of users to better and more quickly use our Electronic price display label.
The following are some questions that most of users often ask when integrating with our E-ink price tag:
1. Can your electronic shelf label software system support multiple stores well?
Can it handle large-scale deployment and changes and controls?
*The networking software for Electronic price tag designed by our engineering team is for multiple chain stores. All prices and content on the electronic shelf label screen can be remotely controlled by the headquarters, and can also be controlled separately by the permissions of different accounts.
For example, only administrators can change promotional prices, and sub-accounts can only view them, etc.
2. How is the data of the E-ink price tag transmitted to the system via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?
* The data of our electronic shelf labels will only be encrypted and sent by the base station. 2.4G Bluetooth signal is used to transmit data to the price tag. There is no connection to the outside. The most advanced electronic shelf labels on the market currently use this technology.
3. Regarding the integration, what is the required format for data input? Does it need to appear in the form of flat files, zip, CSV, or does your system read directly from the database (such as SQL view)? What method is used to transfer data? Can this be modified as the project expands?
* For Electronic price display label integration, data transmission uses our own proprietary protocol, which is encrypted for transmission. If users have special needs for our electronic shelf label software, we can also customize it.
4. How secure is the gateway? What type of encryption is used? Can the encryption settings be changed? Is the gateway designed as an extension of the network to reduce vulnerabilities? !
* For the electronic shelf labels we provide, all data transmissions are encrypted using AES128, including all transmissions between the software and the base station, and between the base station and the price tag.
5. What type of database does your system use?
* Our electronic shelf label networking software uses MySQL database, and users can also use SDK to develop software by themselves. Our software is also developed based on SDK. The following figure is the working diagram of SDK, which customers can refer to.
6. Does your system support Wi-Fi technology in the 5.2 GHz band, not just 2.4
GHz?
* The 2.4G transmission we are talking about is only the transmission between the base station and the price tag, but it does not support external connection and transmission. Because that is unsafe. And WiFi is unstable.
7. Does your system support data transmission through scripts? If it does, what are the technical details?
*If you don't want to use our software,
You can use or develop your own software, we will provide SDK or Middleware API files for your integration. Then you can make integration directly with our Base station (AP)
